This is a final post in the series documenting my travels in April. I hope that you’ve enjoyed them, or at least they’ve helped kill a little time before you can leave off work.
If you’ve been keeping up, you’ll have read that one week away became two quite different week long trips. The first with my family in Eastern Europe, and the second, a roadtrip-cum-pilgrimage with a mate to see a Scottish bridge.

Fuji Neopan was one of the first films I tried when I made my first, tentative steps back into analogue pictures some six years ago or so (you can read the full story in my Emulsive interview). Along with Ilford’s Ilfotec HC developer, it has remained a constant since because while I like a little experimentation, once I find something that works well for me, I tend to stick with it and explore its full potential. As I described in my first 52 Rolls post of 2017, I plan to slow things down a little this year. After last year’s excesses, I hope that by leaving time between the taking of the picture and choosing what to show, I’ll not be tempted into posting the pictures that might have been difficult or exciting to make, but only those that deserve to make the cut on their merits and without that influence.
