One-to-one English conversation with a native British English speaker
You may already have a good level of English and use it regularly at work. You can read emails, follow meetings and communicate with international colleagues and customers. But speaking confidently and naturally is a different skill, particularly when you need to think on your feet, explain something unfamiliar or take part in a fast-moving conversation.
I offer relaxed, practical one-to-one English conversation for Polish professionals who want to become more comfortable and fluent when speaking English at work.
There are no textbooks, formal lessons or prescribed syllabus…
…we simply talk, focusing on the situations and subjects that are relevant to you. I’ll help you express yourself more naturally, explain unfamiliar expressions and correct mistakes when doing so is useful.
The aim isn’t perfect English. It’s to make the English you already have easier to use, so that you can concentrate on the conversation rather than worrying about the language.

I also work with Polish companies that need help with their English-language communication.
My background is in engineering, manufacturing and international supply chains, so I am particularly comfortable working with technical and industrial businesses.

The aim isn’t simply to translate Polish into English. It’s to make the English clear, natural and appropriate for an international customer.
Why work with a person?
A.I. translation and writing tools have become extremely capable, and they can be very useful. I use them myself when they are appropriate. However, good communication involves more than producing grammatically correct English.
Context – I can understand what you are actually trying to communicate, who you are communicating with and why.
Judgement – Sometimes the problem isn’t a grammatical mistake. It’s that something sounds too formal, too vague, too blunt or simply unlike something a British or international company would say.
A real conversation – When you’re trying to become more confident speaking English, an A.I. conversation is not quite the same as talking to another person. You have to listen, respond, explain yourself and keep the conversation going in real time.
The difference is that you’re working with a native British English speaker who understands your professional environment and can give you immediate, practical feedback.
About me
I am a native British English speaker who has lived and worked in international business for more than 30 years.
My career has involved working with suppliers, customers and international supply chains, as well as dealing with technical information and communicating across different countries and business cultures.
That experience gives me a practical understanding of how technical and commercial information needs to be communicated — accurately, clearly and with the intended audience in mind.
I now live near Syców in Lower Silesia and am offering that experience to Polish companies looking to communicate more effectively in English.
I work with people and companies throughout the region and remotely elsewhere in Poland.
