Another 52 Rolls Project entry…
…and another roll shot on my brief trip to Poland in January. This time it was Ilford XP2 Super, generously given to me by my friend Iain. He’d bought in Poland and I’d promised to return it to the country to shoot it.
I went over to see the opening of a photography show that I was part of, along with two very talented people – Wojtek and Pavel. In the days leading up to the opening night, I’d stayed with my mother-in-law in rural Dolny Śląsk, enjoying a couple of walks in the wintry fields and spending time with E.
My wife’s family and I travelled to Wrocław for the opening and in the afternoon beforehand, I met up with the other guys and Piotr, the curator and instigator. He took us to Nadrodze and the Port Miejski, knowing that we’d all enjoy the run down district, its abandoned buildings and views of the city centre power station(!).
Gubbins:
Leica M6, Leica 35mm Summicron-M ASPH, Ilford XP2 Super, processed and scanned at FilmDev
I really like the photo of the child at the top. Beautiful grain. The area with the abandoned buildings looks like a photographer’s dream!
