I’m not a ‘knife guy’.
Nor am I some crazed bushcrafting survivalist with a bunker in his yard and year’s supply of… everything. Just in case.
However, I do spend a good bit of time outdoors, in the hills/woods, under canvas or on the water, and as such it’s handy to know how to tie a couple of knots, use a few tools and to brew a decent coffee outdoors.
It’s also handy sometimes to have a knife.
Not a giant Rambo-style blade with a compass and a wire saw in the handle that’s illegal in 200 countries. More like a classic, folding gentleman’s knife that fits in a pocket that I remember my dad’s generation using.
So I bought one. A nice one. And when I was out walking yesterday, took some pictures of it.

It’s from Fox knives in Italy, made from Austrian Böhler steel and designed by an American guy called Bob Terzoula. It uses N690Co steel and the cheeks on the handle are made from olive wood. It opens with a thumb disc and uses a liner lock.

When I was looking to buy this knife, I couldn’t find any decent pictures of it, other than the one on the maker’s website. So for the three of you who have arrived here because you’re looking at buying the same thing, I’d thoroughly recommend the Fox, and I hope that you like the pictures…

Beautiful knife, it will come in handy. Nice images too!

I’m actually a big EDC and pocket knife fan besides loving film. I’ve wanted a Fox knife for a long time. Great shots. Great knife 🙂

Hey, thanks for reading. It is fantastically well made and I think may be a gateway to more knives in the future…
