I went over to Whitestrand, near Milton Malbay earlier to have a look at the tail-end of Storm Bella. Despite windspeeds having eased from the ‘severe gale force’ overnight, it was still difficult to stand up when exposed to the full force of it out on the headland.
The light was amazing, changing every few minutes as the hail and rain showers passed over. I made sure I was there just before high tide, and this meant that the huge waves were beating against the coastline, with the spray and spume being carried hundreds of meters inland on the wind.
As usual, it was thrilling and awe-inspiring to see nature doing her thing up-close, and my camera and skin are now covered in a nice, white crusty layer of salt….
nice colors and light

Happy New Year to you too. Yes, I still have my old 5d mark2 body but it doesn’t get out much

Didn’t know you have this camera, but I see it makes really nice photos… I mean not many people care about image quality these days as they are mostly viewed small and and even on phone screen…
