Last month, I found myself on my freind Wojtek’s Adobe Portfolio site. It was a simple, clear site that showcased his excellent, (mostly) large-format photography very well. I asked him about it and discovered that it was part of the Adobe Lightroom subscription that I already had. Even better, pages of the portfolio could be created and edited inside Lightroom and then synced back up to the portfolio page where they populated a template.

While I like the WordPress platform, and it has served this blog well for the last 10 years or so (since I came here from Blogger), the free version that I use does not really have the facility to create a website that shows off photography projects at full screen. I wanted something where I could collections of pictures that are gathered over time. Rather than directing people here to stories of kayaking, microadventure, photography and whatever else I’ve written about, a portfolio would allow more focus on the pictures.
Anyway, here it is. Have a look and let me know what you think. I’m not 100% convinced with the current layout template, but it’s doing what I’d hoped for now…

Looks pretty slick! Full blown images are effective in main menu. Nice job

Looks nice!
I’ve got a CC subscription with Lightroom and Photoshop, so I might have to look into this myself too.
