Today was one of those days. The sunrise and sunset coincided with my rides to and from work. It was cold, clear and beautifully colourful.

I wish I’d had a ‘proper’ camera with me (and some time to do the scene some justice) to snap the dawn mist over Cossington Lock and the River Soar.I take this picture every year, and every year risk standing on the same icy picnic table just to get this shot.And after a day in the office, the ride home offered this as I passed Groby Pool…Sorry about the pictures, but you get the idea. My phone’s camera seems to have dirt on the inside of the lens, evident on a couple of these snaps…
