Cosmic Ground

You might have spotted if you’re a regular follower that I had a false start with the second week on the FP4+Party. I shot a mystery roll from the fridge, thinking it was FP4+, only to find that it was HP5+ when I got to the end of the roll. That meant quickly snapping 36 exposures as I walked along Holkham beach last weekend.

fp4party-5As a result, there’s nothing too exciting here, and the results are strangely grainy for such a slow film. It may have been my tight-fisted approach to chemical use that means that I try to get too many rolls through the same mixture and led to having to fix the subsequent roll twice.

For the most part, I prefer the look of the colour pictures taken on the same day, although the beach huts above and the brooding clouds do lend themselves to a monochrome film. Anyway, here they are…fp4party-3

fp4partyGubbins:

Leica M6, 35mm Summicron-M ASPH, Ilford FP4+, Ilfotec HC for 8:00 in the garage, scanned at home.
